Download Guide: How to Download Instagram Content

How It Works

IG Saver Online is a free online tool that downloads Instagram content directly to your device. No app installation, no login, no sign-up. It works on any device with a web browser - phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops.

All downloads are processed on our servers. Your device does the browsing; our servers fetch the media files. This means it works regardless of whether Instagram is blocked on your network.

Step 1: Copy the Instagram Link

Open Instagram and find the video, Reel, Story, photo, or carousel post you want to download. Tap the three dots menu ( ... ) and select “Copy Link”.

For Reels: open the Reel, tap the share icon, then tap “Copy Link”.

For Stories: open the Story, tap the three dots menu, then tap “Copy Link”.

Step 2: Paste the Link

Go to the appropriate IG Saver Online page for your content type and paste the link into the input field:

• Video Downloader - for regular Instagram videos
• Reel Downloader - for Instagram Reels
• Post Downloader - for photos and single-video posts
• Carousel Downloader - for multi-image carousel posts
• Story Saver - for Instagram Stories

Step 3: Download

Click the download button. Our servers will fetch the media and generate a download link. Depending on the file size, this usually takes 2-5 seconds.

For carousel posts, you will see all slides listed. You can download them individually or all at once using the “Download All” button.

Step 4: Save to Your Device

Once the download link is ready, tap or click it to save the file. On most browsers:

• Mobile (Chrome/Safari): The file downloads automatically to your Downloads folder
• Desktop (Chrome/Firefox/Edge): The file saves to your default Downloads folder
• Desktop (Safari): The file may open in a new tab - right-click and select “Save As”
